Physiotherapy Services

Physiotherapy…

We assess, diagnose and treat musculoskeletal injuries using our clinical experience and keeping up to date with the latest evidence-based medicine.

Our treatments use a combination of hands-on therapy, education, dry needling, and exercise prescription. We empower our patients with knowledge and skills to help them become independent and in control of managing their injuries.

How Are We Different?

Every consultation is 45 minutes long, (15 minutes longer compared to most private practices). Why do we do this? We believe in quality over quantity. We want to ensure we have enough time to go through a thorough subjective and objective assessment to best help us diagnose your injury correctly. This also gives us time to discuss and explain to you your injury and gives us time to start treatment/ a treatment plan.

We like to make sure our patients walk away feeling they have knowledge about their injury as well as what exercise’s or treatment will allow you to rehabilitate your injury adequately and most efficiently.

Physio-Led Exercise Classes

Rehab Pilates

These classes have a maximum of 4 patients per class, where all participants are prescribed their own exercises that are helping to rehabilitate their current injuries and/or medical conditions.

We use a variety of equipment including the full Pilates equipment set (Reformer, Trapeze Table, Chair, Spine Corrector and Combo Chair), along with Therabands, Dumbbells, Weight Bars, Weighted Balls, Chi Balls, Magic Circles, Foam Rollers and more.

These classes are suitable for pre or post surgical patient, pre or post natal women, injured athletes, weekend warriors, patients with neurological disorders and those suffering from chronic pain.

All of our classes are kept small so they can be closely monitored and individualised to cater to each persons needs. We want to make sure we are helping rehabilitate any injuries/ niggles. We can take it as slow or as intense as you like to push it!

All Rehab class participants will need an initial assessment with the Physiotherapist so that you can discuss your current injuries, medical history, and the goals you would like to achieve over the course of the classes. During the assessment, the physio will also take baseline measurements personalised to you so that they can track your progress
